Not my father’s bird images…

The huge telephoto lenses, the blinds, the long trips searching for bird “hotspots” — I’ve been a birder for a while now. Millions of birders produce a zillion gorgeous images of the diverse avian world every year, so I set out to take some liberties and attempt to create different images, less literal, less Audubonian, less documentarian, and more interpretive of the rudiments of bird life…

Bound to the ocean and reflecting mixed genetics, I am compelled to write about the sea while living in Colorado.
